Carole Lombard was nominated for her role in the 1936 classic; "My Man Godfrey."
This beautiful and very talented actress lit up the silver screen in the 1920's, 1930's, and the early 1940's. Her early death via a plan crash in 1942 at the age of 33 ended such a promising career. During her short time she found love twice with her first husband actor; William Powell and then her true love Clark Gable. Other noteworthy films range from; "To Be or Not To Be" "Made for Each Other" "Nothing Sacred" "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and many more.
